Posted over 8 years ago by Genevieve Lauria

Hello all,

We have come to the end of our scheduled education L Please join us May 11 Aud A DHMC 4-5p to hear Doc Rhynhart give us all his knowledge on adult (and maybe some pedi) nero trauma. EMS providers encouraged to attend! Remember you do not need to be a member to come to these events and they are completely FREE. Plus you get a 1hr CEU certJ As always please share with your fellow co-workers, friends, neighbors, and any one you meet that may want to learn more about the care we provide our patients from the field to the ICU.

We will start back up in late September. Dates TBA. Please check our facebook page or website for updates. I will email you all dates ASAP.

Also this meeting we will discuss results from the survey monkey and election results. Here is a little something about our secretary hopeful:

My name is Maryellen Louth and I am running for secretary of the AACN NH network.  I have been a nurse for 30 years, 12 of which have been at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where I work in the Medical ICU.   Through active participation in many of the monthly education sessions, I have learned a great deal about areas outside of the MICU.  Now I find that when I am orientating new staff to the MICU, I have a whole new wealth of information to draw from.  I am running for secretary because I want this organization to succeed, as well as expanding my knowledge through continuing education.

Afterwards we will head to the Skinny Pancake in Hanover to celebrate with our newest leader.

We are looking for ideas for this coming fall. Please let us know if you have any topics you would like to hear more about or speakers you would like. Also, if you have a topic you are passionate about and would like to present on (great for annual performance, CCRN credit, etc.) let us know. We would love to have our members teach each other!

Look forward to seeing everyone on May 11th!

Gen, Jason, and Hillary
