Jan 12th edu will be focused on Respiratory Emergencies. The first half is ventilator management for the ARDS patient will be geared towards all levels of experience. The second half will be of a case study/ research evidence of extubating to BiPap. When a patient fails what are our options for high risk extubations?
ARDS will be taught by Matt McNally, RCT, who is the Respiratory care educator at DHMC. There also might be pig lungs involved in this presentation.
Extubating to BiPap will be taught by Dr Julia Peters one of our amazing critical care fellows at DHMC.

Afterwards we will go to Margarita's for drinks, chips, salsa, and networking.
