Patient care from scene to Critical care Nov 10

Posted almost 9 years ago by Genevieve Lauria

Greeting from the AACN Dartmouth Regional Network!

Next education will be at 1600 on Nov 10th at the Hanover Fire department. Ever wondered what happens when you drop of a STEMI pt in the cath lab or what EMS has done for your trauma pt before receiving them in the ICU? Jason Osborne and Andy Miller from DHART will take one STEMI pt and one trauma pt from scene to critical care. Come learn how all the pieces of the patient care puzzle fit together. This will be a great time to learn what tools each discipline come to the table with and are expected to compete before the next phase of care.

Jason and Andy are great speakers and are very well versed in pre-hospital medicine to inpatient care.

Afterward we will head into Hanover to the Skinny Pancake for beers and social time.

Please see the upcoming events tab on our website for all the fall education dates, topics, and speakers. https://aacndrn.nursingnetwork.com/

You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter. As always we are a free organization offering free CERPs and encouraging interdisciplinary networking and collaboration. Do not worry if you are not a member or have never been. We love new faces as much as the returning ones.

December 13 will be at DHMC in Aud F on renal failure in the critical care patient Dr Laura Chiang

Next year’s dates posted on the Facebook page and the website.

See you next week!

Gen, Jason, and Hillary
