Update and June 9th Education
Posted about 9 years ago by Genevieve Lauria
Hello all!
Wow, May was an action and education packed month. Thank you to Mike Lauria for delivering an excellent lecture on cognitive science and improving code team dynamics. We had a great show of participants, and the ultimate local networking, Hanover Fire, DHART, and critical care nurses from CVCC, MICU, and SICU were all represented! Thanks you all who came out for May's edu day.
Come June 9th for our last education session before the summer at Salt Hill in Lebanon from 4-6p – The science behind the care of the donor patient – Karen Lord and Kerri Casey –New England Organ Bank. Have you ever wondered the rational and pathophysiology behind all the interventions you do for an organ donation patient? Have you arrived to a scene call and wondered what you could do to help facilitate organ donation? Karen and Kerri will shed light on what we do and why at the bedside for both adult and pediatric patients. Come learn about some of the cool new organ/body part donations. It is a little unreal how far organ donation has come and what we can do now.

Let's end this amazing first year with a bang!
See you in a couple of weeks!
